- Socrates Cafe in Teaneck, NJ
Socrates Cafe is a movement to bring philosophy outside the academic setting. We meet on the last Monday of each month from mid-September to early June. During the summer, we meet on one Sunday in July and in August.

- Bergen County Sanctuary Committee
A coalition of religious communities, human rights organizations, and other groups and individuals who have joined together to provide support and services for asylum seekers who are released from detention. The Bergen Ethical Culture Society is a founding member.
